On July 25, 2005, a temporary restraining order was entered in federal district court for the Northern District of Illinois against the following defendants for their roles in the fraudulent promotion of a penny stock, U.S. Wind Farming: William L. Telander, Raymond J.McNamee, Templar Financial, Mad World Capital Group, Time Limit Capital, Anthony M. Necoechea, 20th Century Jackson Equities, Charles S. Fleming, Ashlin Capital, Kyoto Capital Group and the company, U.S. Wind Farming. The SEC complaint also alleged that Michael D. Spadaccini and Oronex, LLC violated the Securities Act in connection with the offer and sale of Wind Farming common stock. The SEC alleged that Telander, the CEO of Wind Farming, was a recidivist who was permanently enjoined and criminally convicted for securities fraud in 1994. Telander allegedly caused Wind Farming to improperly issue millions of unregistered securities.
