Financing & Investments, Inc. was sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to pay resttitution of over $27 million. Blissett was ordered to stop operations by a federal district court judge in Miami in a related fraud case. The SEC alleged that A.B. Financing targeted African-Americans with ties to the Caribbean.
